THE COACHING PROCESS

We use the word “process” to bring out two features of coaching - The first - coaching is a continuous activity. Unlike a treatment, coaching does not cure the symptom. It is a dynamic, ongoing process of learning and gets to the root of the issue.

And second, it is quite heavy on time investment.

As the cliché goes, ‘Rome was not built in a day’ - And we are talking about human potential here. It is therefore quite believable that the speed of the process depends almost entirely on the commitment of the individual and organization alike. In most observed cases, clients have reported performance-based improvement within six to twelve weeks; the coaching process lasts a minimum of six months.

This comprehensive coaching process includes:

  • Coaching Sessions
We conduct one or two 2-hour sessions per month, typically followed by two telephonic sessions of approximately an hour. Through this, we typically define the performance objectives for the entire coaching assignment.

  • Ongoing Coaching
While the physical sessions cater to most relevant themes, there are still some issues that demand urgent attention. For these, we provide immediate consultation through telephonic discussions.

  • Online Coaching
We encourage a continuous online interaction whereby clients can provide feedback, seek advice and share their progress. This support is provided via e-mail from Monday through Friday.

  • Telephonic Coaching
Due to location constraints, one-on-one sessions might not always be possible. However, coaching conversations can be equally effective over the phone and hence, this option is offered to those who are not in the same location as the coach.

"Actually, I'm an overnight success, but it took twenty years.”
